A message from the Leadership Team

Finding the right nursery for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. In coming to that decision, we hope that you will visit Wellingtons for Langley Hall. From the moment you step inside the door you will sense the difference. It is truly place where children come first and where they can grow and thrive.

The experiences a child has in the first three years of their life largely determine their future potential and life chances. It’s important therefore that we work together with parents to make these years count. We believe passionately that high quality childcare is the key, and this cannot be compromised by underfunding. You may not find us to be the cheapest childcare available, but we hope that you will find us to be the best.

A great deal of thought has gone into planning the nursery. Our proprietor and educational Director, Mrs Sally Eaton, is a qualified teacher, former Ofsted inspector, early years consultant and writer of training resources for those entering the childcare profession, she’s drawn upon her knowledge, experience and research of childcare and early learning to create an environment that gives children the very best start in life.

The teachers and nursery practitioners who will care for your child have been especially chosen for their dedication, skills and absolute commitment to ensuring that children enjoy their childhood.

 A Message from the Head

Firstly, I would like to say a huge welcome to all of you that are joining our setting. Wellingtons for Langley Hall is an incredible place and I am honoured to be the Head. The best part of my job is seeing all of the children enjoy their time at nursery and building lasting relationships with the staff here. There is nothing I like more that seeing our nursery children transition into school and become confident, ready to learn pupils. we have had so many comments from our local schools on how 'school ready' our children were in Reception and this fills me with joy. I am so proud of the team that we have developed here and as a manager, knowing that your staff team are just as passionate about providing high quality care as you are, is incredibly reassuring. I have been working in nursery management for almost 10 years and not one day is ever the same. My passion for developing enthusiastic, confident and skilled practitioners has always been the driving factor in my career and has led me to gain the highest qualification in Early Years studies myself. I believe that if we invest the time into our staff and educate them on the importance of their roles, we can ensure that all of the children who are in our care have the very best start in life. I love my job as the Head of Nursery at Wellingtons for Langley Hall and I know that you will see why once you have been here to visit us. Please feel free to pop by my office and say hello.

Kind Regards
Joanne Poole BA (hons)
